Big Project Of Thank-you Cards Comes To Completion

Nearly five months after the big event, the thank-you cards are finally done. If you did not receive one, sorry to say you are out of luck (Not really, let me know and I'll see what I can do.).

Lots of existential moments of doubt, anxiety for everyone in the household, and, of course, dreams of the elusive payoff -- the mega dessert fiesta promised for completion of the task.

Last night I offered to purchase the special dessert, but as it was so coveted, so special, great deliberation and evaluation must be taken, so more time is needed. I've offered to get cakes, pies, allow the kid to order anything at Ben and Jerry's or Dairy Queen, but we are still waiting for rainbow smoke to come up out of the chimney.
