I get tongue tied trying to explain mass murder and terrorism to my kids.
I want them to know that when people are murdered there is no rationalization that mitigates the crime.
Just now my daughter came into the room when I was writing these words and we again touched on the subject that in a free society we must endure offense.
I have spent too much time watching the media digest this issue, talking about the perpetrators' backgrounds and France's involvement in the international fight against Islamic extremists.
Don't let the stupidity win.
I read those words from a BBC report covering the story. Sometimes the injustice of the world becomes overwhelming and it takes a simpler message to make sense of it all.
