This Is The Circuitboard For My Furnace

The heat is on!
After 10 days of not having a working furnace the technician came today, installed the new circuitboard, and now I'm not wearing the down jacket.

The temperature inside the house generally hovered around 60 degrees, just cold enough to make getting out of bed really unpleasant, but not cold enough to warrant evacuation.

I'm now enjoying the heat a few degrees over normal, feeling I've earned the luxury.

A buddy recommended I save the old board, and should the same repair again be needed, I could buy a new one on the internet and install it myself. That was the worst advice I received in a month. I only wonder why it took me a full 90 seconds to judge its wanton idiocy.

I have a broad knowledge base, but furnace repair is not part of it. Some things are just better left to the professionals.
