Ritual De Lo Habitual - Weekend Pancakes

This is my role in the family and the cosmos.

As it is Friday my thoughts are turning to the sabbath, or generally the weekend. Shabbos! I will scream at myself as I drive, turn stuff on, and generally carry like I usually do.

How do I observe my days of rest? Preferably by doing outdoorsy stuff. But mostly I'll make my signature dish -- pancakes.

My family depends on me to make the pancakes, for if I don't, the dream of the pancake will fade away forever.

My secret is to add a ridiculous amount of fruit. Bananas, blueberries, apples, cherries are all fair game. I don't use any prepared mix, which I believe gets me street cred in Moldova.

Forget the egg, for here the pancake rules supreme!
