Where do rats go when they want to chill? They climb into a bucket of plush toys and burrow down in the softness and contemplate.
What the rats fail to comprehend is that when humans let them out of the cage they expect to see the rats scamper around and interact with the room. When the rats have other ideas how their time should be used, they get rousted from their funky lair.
In the video, you can see one of the rats peed on me. I guess I deserved it, forcing my agenda on a low-energy rat.
Now the rats are full-grown and getting mellow, I suspect rousing them to action, in the name of education, entertainment, and art, will be more of an issue.
