Fear Of Corndog Theft Inspires Unique Warning

Leftover food from a restaurant meal for the kids is like Krugerrands in the vault.

Last Sunday we had a celebration of brown food -- that is to say fried food, or in the case of the rueben, grilled with copious amounts of butter.

Even when the kids were stuffed they eagerly, and artistically, anticipated breakfast where the remainder of the meal would be consumed.

The item most coveted were cocktail wieners made into mini corndogs. These were judiciously awarded to each kid's box based on a negotiated agreement as to whom had eaten more during the meal.

I did have a bite or two of the mini corndogs during the meal. But the dire warnings on one of the containers pushed the thought of a midnight snack far from my mind.
